A wonderful movie teaching good moral values. It would be of great help for children facing peer pressure. I really enjoyed the talk between Scotty and his dad about the soldier.

Incredible lessons for kids and adults. Great music, story line, and real characters that you can love and relate to. Our family from the youngest to the oldest really loves this film--we watch it over and over with the same tears and laughs as the first time. Giving it for Christmas this year.

This movie stands as a testament to the power of real friendship and unconditional love. My kids can't stop watching it, and neither can I! As a Chicago native, I can empathize with Pete and his struggle in such a place of temptation, but I also cheer on the Buttercream Gang boys in their quest to make a true friendship last. When it comes to treats, treats are on the Buttercream Gang!

My 21 year old son watched this film on VHS as a child and loved it. A favorite family classic, he asked for it in DVD format just so that he has it to watch again and remember. Great teaching movie.

My classroom really enjoyed this video. It held their attention and had a great moral. They liked the characters and wanted more when it was finished! I felt comfortable showing this to my class because of the values of this club. Thank you!

This is the cheesiest movie ever. It is awesome! I really don't like the acting, which makes it ten times better! We made our own prequel about this amazing experience. We are so happy to have this terrible movie! Thank you for filling our house with laughter and buttercream! My friends and I even formed our own Buttercream Gang! We save tons of old women who fell down!

I watched the movie with my children and we really enjoyed it. It had great lessons, especially that of friendship and unconditional love. To respond to Phillip on 6/11/07, I cannot believe that he sees what he sees about this movie. It has nothing to do with homosexuality - it is true friendship between young boys. Nothing more! I will be praying for you Philip. 'Family Films'keep making the movies!

The Buttercream gang teaches some great values like helping others and never giving up on a friend even when they turn violent and hate you. The acting may be a little cheesy, but I personally really like the movie.
