Great story that shows what you can do if you believe in something while others are against you. STEVE ELKHART, IND.

My children loved this movie. They watch it over and over again. The word "stupid" is used in the movie, and to us that is a "bad word". However, they really enjoy the talking animals and it is a favorite to share with their friends.

This movie starts out with a very cute premise - the boy can communicate with his pets. My girls adored it --at first! We were very disappointed, however, when the plotline went on to include some very scary and violent scenes. Examples: closeup of boy's mother being shot with a hypodermic needle by masked men who enter the house, ransack house and kidnap boy; "murder", "killing", etc. are used several times. Detailed scenes of attempted assasination of the president, and more. I just felt this was way too scary for little kids who think they are going to be watching a cute story about talking pets. It got scary really fast and without warning. I felt the storyline could have been accomplished without all of the graphic scenes mentioned above. Shouldn't be included in this age category.

Very cute movie - my kids really liked it and as parents we did too.

Well done and several excellent messages for people of all ages. IE: Never give up on a dream or idea you have. Don't think you know another until you get to know them....destructiveness of gossip. Self depreciation and it's harmfulness. Always seek the truth. How to know who your true friends are..
