A Family For Joe
To keep from being split up, the recently orphaned Bankston children ask a homeless man, Joe, to pose as their grandfather. When Joe takes the job more seriously than they expected and tries to bring order to their lives, the children rebel. They all must learn what it takes to make a real family or they'll soon be separated.

Customer Reviews
This movie is excellent except for one thing. The entire plot is based on deception. The children plot to deceive the social workers to keep their family together, then Joe goes along with it. In the end, it all works out for their good. It is important to let children know that deception is never right under any circumstance- even when it the cause seems right. I still recommend the movie, but with advice to question children at the end of the movie about the deception and how it might could have been handled differently.

Well done and several excellent messages for people of all ages. IE: Never give up on a dream or idea you have. Don't think you know another until you get to know them....destructiveness of gossip. Self depreciation and it's harmfulness. Always seek the truth. How to know who your true friends are..
