When the grandson he hasn’t seen in years arrives for a visit with him in Colorado, Ben finds that the little boy he once knew has become an angry, selfish, disrespectful teenager. He immediately lets Ben know he hates him and just wants to get back to California. Ben agrees to take him home — on horseback. It becomes a journey that changes both of their lives.

This is one of the best movies I have seen in some time. It is so refreshing to be able to put in a movie and know their will be values taught in it. We have a ministry working with kids and horses and this will be a great movie during one of our camps. Thanks for bringing these great movies to us.

Absolutely amazing movie! It is a great message for today's teens! I highly recommend this movie to everyone!

Acting great Beautiful scenery. Interesting characters. Some of story improbable. The Indian boy's horse was facing forward without being guided. It shouldn't have fallen off the mountain & broken it's leg. I think the boy buried his grandfather which seems impossible. Finding the way to California seems unlikely to arrive at a specific location. Maybe all the coast was alerted to watch for them. The fuss with the police at the end appeared to be a Hollywood stunt. It is more likely the police would be more accommodating & escort the boy to the sea. I love a good story, but these things spoiled it for me.I like realism. Thank you for your efforts. Lois.

Eccellent, wish I had had the forthwith to take the time to put my children through educational experiences when facing similar circumstances. This film shows us how true love for family can get side tracked and also what we can do to help others. Great demonstration of friendship and respect due to unwavering character. Never forget or give up an your dreams.
