After her mother’s death Sarah Stewart is sent to live with her estranged father, on his sheep farm in Scotland. While riding in the nearby mountain she meets an old hermit who protects the animals of the mountain, including a mysterious stallion. When poachers threaten the animals the old hermit and Sarah team up with her father to help them.
