Customer Reviews:
Rating:
Mickey has some very serious family value problems. First, The plot is designed around a lie that complicates everything else. The lie is carried out and the end there is little remorse other than being caught. Secondly, there is a bar scene in a club where the father and coach are seen with an alcholic beverage (beer) before them. Is is okay to drink. Thirdly, the decision is made because of the conflict to continue with the deception and teaching that the end justifies the means. Lastly, when the father is released from prison the son is there wearing ear rings and presenting a very unsettling appearance but all is just acceptable to everyone. What are we teaching our children and how much will the parents refuse to direct in their children's lives.
