The Ghosts of Dickens' Past

Charles Dickens desire for financial security only fuels his own fears and self-pity. His soul-searching leads him to explore his past and wander the dark areas of London where he grew up. When he meets a young girl whose life hauntingly mirrors his own childhood, she reawakens one of his dreams — to write something that will solve the plight of child labor.
